Capital Loop, as a proposed successor to Ottawa’s historic Alexandra Bridge, embodies a fusion of heritage and contemporary design. As one of Canada’s first cantilever span bridges, the Alexandra Bridge has been a long-standing symbol of innovative steel design in Canada. The bridge stands as an important part of the city with a pivotal role in the “confederation loop” connecting distinct canadian landmarks.
