It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of
Mr. Walter Verhey on November 18, 2023 in Harley, Ontario.
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walter Verhey (Harley, Ontario), who passed away on November 18, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by : his wife Maria Verhey (Bolle); his children, Tim, Monica Verhey, Len, Lauren Verhey, Marty, Emily Verhey, Nick, Janelle Verhey and Jacqueline Verhey; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Aleana, Curtis, Nathan, Malia, Jacob, Caleb, Claire, Nora, Sophie, Henry, Dominic, Bryson and Brianna; his parents, Ted Verhey and Faye Verhey; and his mother-in-law Jane Bolle (late Herman Bolle). He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 23rd 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Netherlands Reformed Congregation-Brant County (68 Bethel Rd, Paris, ON N3L 3E3).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 24th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 24th 2023 at 11:30 AM at the Harley Cemetery (125 Harley Rd, Harley, ON N0E 1E0). A reception will be held on Friday, November 24th 2023 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Netherlands Reformed Congregation-Brant County (68 Bethel Rd, Paris, ON N3L 3E3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Netherlands Reformed Congregation of Brant County or Rehoboth Christian School, Norwich.
