CISC was at Queen’s Park yesterday as a member of Prompt Payment Ontario’s delegation to meet with the government and parliamentarians from all political parties, to call for urgent introduction of prompt payment legislation in Ontario.
Multiple delegate teams held over 30 meetings during the day. The day was capped off with an evening reception hosted by Prompt Payment Ontario, that was attended by Ontario’s premier Kathleen Wynne and Attorney General Yasir Naqvi and parliamentarians from the different political parties.
Minister Naqvi reiterated the government’s commitment to imminently introduce prompt payment legislation.
