Hire new first-year apprentices!

Challenged by Skilled Workers? Take Control.

Solve your skilled trades shortage by hiring a first year trade apprentice. Mould and train them to have the skills and experience you need.

The Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC), working in partnership with the Federal Government of Canada, is providing financial incentives to small to medium sized organizations to hire first year apprentices. One of the many tools in the toolbox to increase the number of top level skilled trades supporting our industry sector into the future.

Refer to list of trades that are available for incentives from the CISC. Note these are both manufacturing and construction (field) based apprentice trades.
